The Keeper of the Light - Sea Bunny Series

Sea Bunny is an acrylic gouache painting in a new series of rabbit paintings that are illustrations for a new children’s book I am developing. A true Sea Bunny is actually the name for a round, fluffy, cute little sea creature not an actual land bunny.  Known to be like a slug in the sea,  they belong to the group of mollusks and were discovered by a Japanese biologist. Being that I live and work near the ocean and we have rabbits in our yard daily,  my story developed into what it is today.
